Box Score

MEQUON, Wis. – MSOE women's soccer took their high-powered offense 20 minutes north and was looking to move their winning streak to 11 games when they faced off against Concordia Wisconsin. Unfortunately, CUW shut them down and came away with a 2-0 win on Wednesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Concordia Wisconsin (8-2-0, 7-0-0 NACC) set the tone of the game early when they scored just 70 seconds after the opening kickoff.
  • The Falcons would then grow their lead to two after a penalty kick goal off a handball in the box in the 40th minute.
  • MSOE (10-3-0, 6-1-0 NACC) sent plenty of attempts towards the net, outshooting CUW 18-11,  but couldn't get any past the Falcons keeper in the 90-minute contest.
  • Seven different Red & White players registered a shot on goal but the team was unable to find the back of the net in just their second shutout loss of the season.
