MILWAUKEE – After dropping their first two NACC matches of the year, MSOE women's volleyball came into tonight's contest against Alverno looking to make it three straight wins in conference play. The Red & White had no problem completing that task as they defeated the Inferno in straight sets inside Hotchkin Arena.

ALVERNO – 0 (15-15-17)
MSOE RAIDERS – 3 (25-25-25)

HOW IT HAPPENED

• MSOE (14-8, 3-2 NACC) was in complete control all evening against Alverno (1-8, 0-6 NACC). The Inferno would score no more than 17 points in a single set all night.
• The Raiders hit .294 in the first frame and followed that up with a .448 performance and 17 kills in the second.
• The third and final set was a little more back and forth than the Red & White would have preferred early on, but they found their rhythm and closed out the match in three even with a hitting percentage of just .091.

RAIDER REMARKS

• Quinn Borchert's .667 hitting percentage is the second-best total in a single game in program history. The senior is hitting .361 on the year.
• After 25 games played in the all-time series, MSOE has beaten Alverno 24 times.
