Box Score MILWAUKEE – Riding a three game NACC win streak, MSOE women's volleyball looked to make it four in a row and put themselves inside the conference playoff window. Unfortunately, Benedictine had other plans as they defeated the Raiders in four sets.
RESULT
Benedictine – 3 (23-25-25-25)
MSOE RAIDERS – 1 (25-16-15-16)
HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (14-9, 3-3 NACC) played a solid first set, and while they gave up most of their lead to Benedictine (10-9, 6-1 NACC), the Raiders were still able to hang on to a 25-23 victory.
- Unfortunately, that would be the only set that the Raiders came away with. They would hit .200 in the second, but the Eagles topped them with an attack percentage of .333 in a 25-16 defeat.
- Ten errors led to the Red & White's lowest set point total of the night when they fell 25-15 in the third.
- The Raiders cut their error total in half during the fourth frame, but BU was able to send home 15 kills to wrap up the contest with a 25-16 decision.
RAIDER REMARKS
- Though they weren't able to come away with the win, the Raiders still won their first set against Benedictine since October of 2018.
- Quinn Borchert eclipsed the 200 kill mark on the season and is averaging 2.86 per set.
