Box Score NEW ULM, Minn. – MSOE men's basketball was back in action less than 24 hours after their win on Friday night and were looking to make it three straight when they went to battle against Martin Luther. A big first half allowed the Red & White to hold the lead for a vast majority of the game as they beat the Knights by 16.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (4-1) shot a lights out 61.3 percent from the field in the first half, making a total of 19 field goals. Michael Pitrof accounted for 10 of them, including all five he took from behind the arc for 25 first frame points.
- Holding a 12 point lead heading into the locker room, the Raiders were able to control the tempo of the game in the second half even though Martin Luther (0-6) increased their shooting to exactly 50 percent.
- MSOE was an advantageous bunch, turning 19 Knight turnovers into 25 points.
- The Red & White held the lead for more than 38 minutes and the Raiders dominated the paint by scoring 50 under the hoop for the double-digit win and their third straight overall.
RAIDER REMARKS
- The Raiders locked down their first ever win against Martin Luther this afternoon. They were previously 0-4 against the Knights in a series that started in 1995.
- Michael Pitrof's 34 points is a new career high for the senior guard.
