Box Score MILWAUKEE – MSOE men's basketball finally faced off against Wisconsin Lutheran in their second and final matchup of the regular season against the Warriors. The Raiders overcame a first half deficit, but it was not enough as WLC pulled away for the 14-point win on Monday evening.
FINAL SCORE
Wisconsin Lutheran – 79
MSOE RAIDERS – 65
HOW IT HAPPENED
MSOE (4-5, 2-4 NACC North) shot nearly 50 percent in the first half of tonight's ballgame but had some costly mistakes come back and haunt them. Wisconsin Lutheran (6-0, 6-0 NACC North) forced 12 Raider turnovers, which allowed them to run up a first half lead of nine when paired with their 6-11 shooting from downtown. Still, the Red & White were far from out of the running for their third win in a row. MSOE stormed back in the second frame with a 21-9 run to wipe out the Warriors advantage and take a four-point lead of their own. The Raiders led by five with 10:40 left to go and had the lead or a share of it until a Warriors three with just over five minutes left to play put WLC ahead for good. Wisconsin Lutheran would go on to score 16 of the last 19 points in the game to put the Raiders away and sweep the season series.
