PLYMOUTH, Wis. – It is not how you start but how you finish. The Raiders proved this adage to be true on Saturday night as they overcame a poor first half to beat Marian for the second time in as many games on Saturday night in Plymouth.

MSOE RAIDERS – 72

HOW IT HAPPENED
MSOE (6-5, 4-4 NACC North) did not have a good opening half in tonight's contest, shooting just 23.3 percent from the field. Luckily, Marian (2-7, 1-7 NACC North) had just as tough of time scoring as well. The Sabres held a three-point lead heading into the second half, one in which the Raiders almost doubled their shooting percentage for the second straight night. Still, the Red & White trailed by as much as 12 in the final frame of regulation and would not take the lead until a 9-0 run put them up by one with 2:52 left to play. A Ty Miklowski layup tied the game at 58-58 with only 40 seconds on the clock which sent the game into overtime. There the Raiders held Marian to just 1-8 shooting while MSOE made four of their six shots to outscore them by five and win the game 72-67.

RAIDER REMARKS

• Joey Immekus scored 16 points tonight which serves as the second time this week he has tallied that many. The freshman also scored 16 against Wisconsin Lutheran this past Monday.
• There is currently a four-way tie for the second seed in the NACC North. MSOE holds the tiebreaker over Edgewood while Lakeland would get the advantage over the Raiders via head-to-head competition. The last team in that jumble is Concordia Wisconsin, a team that the Raiders will battle in two games next weekend.

WHO'S ON DECK
