MILWAUKEE – MSOE men's basketball came into tonight's game knowing what they needed to do. A win would mean they would get into the NACC tournament. Unfortunately, it was not meant to be. A last second attempt to tie the game was no good as the Raiders season comes to an end with a two point lost to CUW on Saturday night.

MSOE RAIDERS – 61

HOW IT HAPPENED
MSOE (6-7, 4-6 NACC North) had to deal with a battle of wills in a low scoring first half. Just like last night, the game went back and forth on each end with not much separation to speak of from either team. Concordia Wisconsin (7-4, 6-4 NACC North) shot just 32 percent in the first frame but only trailed the Raiders by three heading into halftime. The Red & White still played solid ball in the final 20 minutes but could not stop the Falcons from knocking down five triples. A Deonte Vanselow tray put the Raiders up by three at 61-58, but they would go the last 3:02 without scoring a basket. A desperation jumper as time expired did not fall as the Red & White's 2021 season ended inside Hotchkin Arena.

RAIDER REMARKS

• The Raider careers of Josh Herzog and Anthony Bartman came to a close tonight but not before two solid performances from the seniors. Herzog has nine points to go along with six rebounds and five assists while Bartman had four points and two blocks.
• MSOE finished the season in a tie for fourth in the NACC North division with Lakeland at 4-6 but lost out on the playoff spot due to their head to head record against the Muskies.
