Box Score MILWAUKEE – MSOE men's basketball finally faced off against Wisconsin Lutheran this evening inside Hotchkin Arena after two postponements pushed the date back from January 29th. The Raiders and Warriors played back and forth basketball in the first half, but poor shooting sank the Red & White's chances to pull out their first NACC North win on Monday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
MSOE (2-4, 0-3 NACC North) had a solid first half against Wisconsin Lutheran (3-0, 3-0 NACC North), playing an up-tempo back and forth style of play. The Raiders went 15-27 from the field and made two of their three shots from behind the arc. The Warriors shot 38.2 percent but were able to get to the line 15 times and converted on 10 of those opportunities. The Red and White trailed for most of the half but were never down by more than eight points and cut that deficit by over half heading into halftime. Down by just three entering the last 20 minutes, the Raiders only made eight shots from the field the rest of the way. Their offensive output was helped out by 11 made free throws, but it was not enough. WLC did not light up the scoreboard but improved slightly over their first half numbers and MSOE never got any closer than the three points they trailed by at half. When it was all said and done, the Raider fell to the Warriors by 12.

The Raiders will play game two of a four game homestand this Friday when they welcome Edgewood to Milwaukee. Game time for the NACC North contest is set for 7:00 pm.
