Box Score MILWAUKEE – MSOE women's soccer last saw the pitch back in November of 2019, so you knew they we ready to kick off their brand-new season. Well, they kicked it off with a statement win. The Raiders outshot Marian by a substantial margin on their way to a shutout victory on a cold and rainy night at Viets Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
MSOE (1-0, 1-0 NACC North) had their way with Marian (0-1, 0-1 NACC North) this evening. Even in the difficult conditions, with gusty winds and steady rain, the Raiders dominated on offense. The Red & White sent 30 shots towards the net and were credited with 20 shots on goal. Three of those 20 went in starting with a Jill Ruark tally off of a penalty kick. Brooke Zidek would go on to set up Nicole Robb for the Raiders second goal of the night while Ruark finished off the scoring in the 67th minute with the assist going to Megan Core. 11 different MSOE players registered at least one shot while they limited the Sabres to just seven overall in their three goal win.

- In the net for the shutout were keepers Reagan Tomkins and Megan Lacina, both playing in their first career game with the Red & White.
- The Raiders are now 8-2 against Marian in their last ten games.
