LAKE FOREST, ILL. – Raiders women's volleyball was on the road for the first time this season, traveling to take on Lake Forest in Illinois. The Lake Forest Sports Center must have felt like home because the Red & White earned their second straight 3-0 victory on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
MSOE (3-1, 1-1) was in complete control today, beating Lake Forest (0-1, 0-1 Midwest) for the fourth straight time. While their attack percentage of .163 could have been better, the Raiders still only committed a total of 13 errors compared to the Foresters mark of 25. With Amanda Yackley serving, the Red & White went on a 7-0 run in the middle of set one to start the afternoon off right with a 25-19 victory. Another 7-0 run in the second frame once again put the Raiders out ahead by a wide margin in a set that Lake Forest never led in to put MSOE in a good spot for the decisive third and final stanza of the day. Once again LFC had no chance as MSOE started off the set by outscoring their opponents 11-3 and had seven mini-runs of at least three points in a row. Five different Raiders registered at least two blocks as the Red & White win against their only non-NACC opponent of the season.
