RIVER FOREST, Ill. – It is always impressive when you are not at full strength and yet a loss is never even a possibility. The Raiders were a prime example of that on Saturday, coasting to victory in the seven matches they were able to field players in.
MATCH SCORE
MSOE RAIDERS – 7
Dominican – 2
HOW IT HAPPENED
MSOE (3-3, 2-0 NACC) was shorthanded on Saturday but did not let that deter them from getting the job done. The two matches in which they had to forfeit because of no available players were the only two that Dominican (0-2, 0-2 NACC) would win all afternoon. In fact, the Raiders made sure that the Stars would not even be able to think of taking home a game in which there was someone across the net from them. The Red & White won their doubles matches by the scores of 8-1 and 8-0 and things were not much different on the singles end. Hannah Marron and Cierra Smith won both of their contests 6-0, 6-0 and Cameron Larson, Leah Becker, and Yuti Modi all won 6-1, 6-0 on their way to the Raiders second straight win.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Raiders will be right back at it on Sunday morning when they take on Alverno in Milwaukee. First serve is scheduled for 10:30 am.
