Box Score FOND DU LAC, Wis. – MSOE women's soccer entered play on Sunday with a chance to secure a NACC North tournament spot. The team responded in the way you would expect them to, dismissing Marian by the score of 4-1 and locking down a berth to the playoffs in the process.

HOW IT HAPPENED
A scoreless first half has become somewhat of a pattern for MSOE (6-1-0, 5-1-0 NACC North) and Sunday afternoon was no exception. The Raiders and Marian (2-4-0, 2-4-0 NACC North) played a scoreless opening 45 minutes, meaning the game would be won or lost in the second frame. Jill Ruark broke the stalemate with a goal in the 60th minute with Brooke Zidek and Nikki Ratts getting credit on the rare double assist. McKayla Zastrow would add two of her own to give MSOE the 3-0 lead with the goals being less than two minutes apart from each other. Marian would get on the board in the 84th minute to break the Raiders defensive scoreless streak but Grace Quinn got it right back with just 43 seconds left to play to seal the deal on the Raiders three goal victory.

WHO'S ON DECK
The Raiders will have their regular season home finale on Wednesday when they take on Alverno at Viets Field. The game will also serve as senior night and will have an opening kickoff time of 7:00 pm.
