MSOE women's tennis came into this weekend winners of three straight and had an unblemished NACC record. Unfortunately, things did not go their way as they fell to both Concordia Wisconsin and Wisconsin Lutheran to move to 3-2 in conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
MSOE (4-5, 3-2 NACC) had trouble all afternoon with NACC leading Concordia Wisconsin (8-4, 5-0 NACC) on Saturday. It seemed like the Raiders were well on their way to a victory after the teams of Cameron Larson/Hannah Marron and Katie Clements/Cierra Smith each came away with victories to put the Red & White up 2-1 after doubles action. However, MSOE was not able to come away with a single match in the second half of the day. The Falcons won each match in straight sets as the Raiders fell 7-2.

Their contest against Wisconsin Lutheran (5-10, 2-3 NACC) was much more competitive but still did not end in their favor. After defeating the Warriors 5-4 in October, WLC decided to flip the script and win by the same exact score. Larson/Marron and Clements/Smith each won again, but Clements (6-4, 6-0) was the only one of those four with a singles victory. Yuti Modi (6-4, 6-0) also had a solo win for the Red & White who fell one match short of their second victory of the year against WLC.

The Raiders will wrap up their home slate with a match against Edgewood on Saturday at 10:00 am.
