Box Score MILWAUKEE – It is never easy to beat a team twice in one season yet alone three times. Yet, MSOE was up to the challenge and had no issue accomplishing that feat. The Raiders hosted Marian in the NACC Northern Division semifinals and handed the Sabres their third loss against them this season via a 4-0 shutout.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Things did not start off well for No. 4 seed Marian (4-6-0, 4-4-0 NACC North) tonight. The Sabres went down by one less than four minutes into the contest thanks to an own goal, a tally that proved to be all that No. 1 seed MSOE (9-1-0, 7-1-0 NACC North) would need in order to advance to the next round. The Raiders got onto the scoreboard the correct way seven minutes later when Nicole Robb set up Jill Ruark to make it 2-0 Red & White. Robb would find the scoresheet again before the end of the half, scoring with just four seconds left before the intermission. She would also score the lone MSOE goal in the second frame in the 62nd minute to give the Raiders their final total of four. The Red & White took 40 total shots and the duo of Reagan Tompkins and Megan Lacina stopped all eight attempts that came their way as the Raiders move on with a four goal victory.

WHO'S ON DECK
The Raiders will play for the NACC Northern Division championship on Sunday when they host No. 2 seed Concordia Wisconsin at Viets Field. An official start time will be announced shortly.
