Box Score MILWAUKEE – Tonight marked the Raiders home opener and they had revenge on their mind. MSOE hosted Lakeland, a team that represents their only blemish on the 2021 schedule. Well, the Red & White got what they wanted as they downed the Muskies 2-0 to keep their scoreless streak alive.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Lakeland (1-2-1, 1-2-1 NACC North) took just two shots in their season opening match against MSOE (5-1, 5-1 NACC North) back on March 17th but beat the Raiders 1-0. The Red & White were determined to make sure that did not happen a second time. MSOE held the Muskies to just two shots once again, but both were stopped by the Raiders defense, insuring nothing more than a tie if worst came to worst. It did not however thanks to Joey Schauer. The senior scored both of the Raiders goals, each of which came in the second half. First it was a penalty kick that got the Raiders on the board in the 59th minute before Kollin McGregor and Lucas D'Amato set him up again with less than eight minutes left to play. The Raiders won their fifth straight game with the 2-0 victory and have held opponents scoreless for over 366 straight minutes.
