MILWAUKEE – Playing their first home match since February 6th, MSOE men's tennis opened up NACC play looking to add their second win of the season to their resume. They had no issues there as they brushed aside a shorthanded Marian team on Wednesday in Milwaukee.
MATCH SCORE
Marian – 0
MSOE RAIDERS – 9
HOW IT HAPPENED
MSOE (2-5, 1-0 NACC) was already well on their way to victory on Wednesday morning as Marian (0-2, 0-2 NACC) had to forfeit three different matches due to lack of available players. Needing just three more points to win, the Raiders decided to run the table. The Red & White registered four different 6-0 set outcomes on the singles side with the Sabres winning two or more sets in a match just two times. Alec Dam and Parker Kuhlman had a smaller battle on their hands in the top doubles spot, but still won their match 8-4. Alex Nakasato and Connor Splingaire had a much easier time however, as they took down their Marian counterparts 8-1 en route to the Raiders 9-0 victory.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Raiders will take on Dominican on Saturday. First serve from River Forest, Ill. is slated for 2:00 pm.
