GLENDALE, Wis. – MSOE baseball got one last tune up in before NACC play this afternoon when they took on the Regents of Rockford. While the second game of the doubleheader got wipe away due to weather, the Raiders did plenty of damage in game one to get back into the win column.

MSOE RAIDERS – 16

HOW IT HAPPENED
MSOE (3-7, 0-0 NACC North) got on the board first in Wednesday's ballgame, scoring one in the second and two in the third to launch out to an early 3-0 lead. However, Rockford (8-10, 0-0 NACC South) would climb right back into the contest. The Regents scored two in the fourth and three in the fifth to wipe out the Raiders lead and took a two-run margin of their own. Micah Overley, Blake Hall, and Noah Ernst put the Red & White back ahead in their very next at bats though, each driving in a run to put MSOE ahead for good. The Raiders would add one more in the sixth before putting up a nine spot up on the board to end the game early via the 10-run rule. Nolan Vincent got the win in relief and Riley Wikel picked up the save as he entered the game with the Raiders having just a one run lead at the time in the Red & White's 16-6 victory.
