Box Score 4 WAUWATOSA, Wis. – Late September only means one thing to MSOE women's volleyball: it's time to host the MSOE Invite. While scheduling conflicts forced the tournament to be moved about 15 minutes away to Mount Mary, the Raiders still played like it was on their own court, winning three out of the four matches on the weekend.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- vs. Mount Mary
- MSOE (11-6, 0-1 NACC) only hit .136 in their first match of the weekend, but Mount Mary (3-10) had 22 errors and hit -.074 in their three-set loss.
- Quinn Borchert led the Raiders with nine kills and Bekah Smith helped out the effort with three aces.
- The Raiders have now beat Mount Mary by the combined score of 6-0 so far this season and they will see them again on Saturday, October 30th.
- vs. Central (Iowa)
- The lone MSOE loss of the weekend came at the hands of Central who had nine more kills than the Raiders.
- Borchert once again had nine kills but that was offset by the Red & White's seven service errors.
- vs. Maranatha Baptist
- The Raiders had their best hitting performance of the weekend against the Sabercats, attacking to the tune of .326.
- Ava Larson had 12 kills to lead all players while five Red & White student-athletes registered at least one ace.
- Amanda Yackley contributed with 32 assists.
- vs. Lawrence
- Lawrence (5-9) made things interesting in the second set, losing 29-27, but didn't threaten the Red & White at any other part of the match.
- Emma Braun had a weekend high 15 kills and Italia Fields added another 11.
- Grace Kringle and Fields each had four block assists.
- The Raiders 3-0 win over Lawrence was the second time they have beaten them in the past eight days.
RAIDER REMARKS
- The Raiders are now 11-6 on the season and have already surpassed their win total from the last two full seasons of play.
WHO'S ON DECK
With tournament play mostly behind them, the Raiders will now focus on conference action. Their next NACC opponent will be Edgewood on Friday in Madison. First serve is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
