Firebirds Too Much For Men's Tennis

KENOSHA, Wis. –  MSOE men's tennis headed to southern Wisconsin to play in their second and final fall match of 2021 when they took on Carthage in Kenosha on Sunday. While the Raiders battled all afternoon, they unfortunately came away without a win in a 9-0 defeat.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • MSOE (0-2) didn't have much luck in doubles play, losing two of the three matches by the score of 8-0. Josh Fay and Benjamin Steves put forth a valiant effort though. Unfortunately, they still fell 8-4.
  • Both Fay and Daniel Lukasek took one of their sets to the score of 7-5 in singles action but were unable to come away with a victory.
  • Though they were swept in solo play, the Red & White only lost three sets by the score of 6-0.

WHAT'S NEXT
The Raiders have now concluded their fall slate and will wait until the spring to begin conference play.
