Box Score MILWAUKEE – Playing on their home court for the first time in 2022, MSOE men's basketball was looking to snap their six-game losing streak when they hosted Marian. Unfortunately, a low scoring first half was too much to overcome as the Sabres beat the Raiders by 25.
FINAL SCORE
Marian – 78
MSOE RAIDERS – 53
HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (5-8, 1-5 NACC) scored the first basket of the game on a Donovan Carter free throw at 17:06 but their 1-0 lead would be the only advantage they would hold all evening.
- Marian (7-4, 3-3 NACC) went on a 9-0 run midway through the first half and grew their lead to as large as 17 before taking a 14-point advantage into halftime.
- The Raiders tried to engineer a comeback to begin the second frame, but their 7-0 run would only pull them within nine.
- The Sabres shot 48.3 percent overall and made 11 three pointers as they dealt the Red & White their seventh straight defeat.
