Box Score DE PERE, Wis. – MSOE men's basketball was hoping a battle against a new NACC foe would help right the ship and get them back into the win column. Unfortunately, a slow first half once again hampered their efforts as they fell to St. Norbert for the first time in conference play on Wednesday night.
FINAL SCORE
MSOE RAIDERS – 57
St. Norbert – 72
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The first half has been MSOE's (5-11, 1-8 NACC) Achilles' heel as of late and tonight against St. Norbert (11-5, 7-2 NACC) was no exception. The Raiders defense allowed 45 Green Knight points in the first half as SNC shot 56.7 percent from the field.
- The Red and White's play under their own basket did improve in the second half however, cutting the total points allowed down by 18.
- Meanwhile, MSOE made 13 of their 29 second period field goals but it was only enough to cut down the overall deficit by three as they fell by 15 on the road.
RAIDER REMARKS
