Box Score MILWAUKEE – MSOE women's soccer has seemingly been on cruise control for the past two weeks with six straight shutout wins, but the Raiders knew they were going to get tested when UW-La Crosse came to Viets Field on Sunday afternoon. The Red & White battled the Eagles in a classic contest but they were on the wrong side of a 2-1 outcome after 90 minutes.

MSOE RAIDERS – 1
HOW IT HAPPENED
- This was a contest that both teams had circled on their calendars after last years battle saw MSOE (8-2-3, 5-0-1 NACC) edge out UW-La Crosse (9-1-1, 1-0 WIAC) on the road by a score of 2-1.
- The Raiders quickly took the advantage this afternoon when Grace Quinn directed an Olivia Carroll pass past the Eagles keeper in the fourth minute. However, UW-LC wouldn't be behind for long as they tied the game just nine minutes later. La Crosse outshot the Red & White 10-2 in the first half and yet MSOE still hung on to enter the intermission tied at 1-1.
- The Raiders amped the offensive pressure up on the Eagles in the second 45 minutes, evening out the shot total. Unfortunately, none of their seven second half shots found their way to the back of the net. Meanwhile, an Eagles shot in the 75th minute snuck by a screened Reagan Tompkins for the game winning goal in the Raiders one tally loss.
