RACINE, Wis. – MSOE men's tennis saw it's second day of action this winter when they faced off against Wartburg on Friday afternoon. The Raiders finally broke through and easily dispatched the Knights for their first victory of the season 8-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (1-3, 0-0 NACC) dominated play on Friday afternoon starting with doubles action. The teams of Alec Dam/Alex Nakasato (8-2), Joe Chong/Daniel Lukasek (8-1) and Benjamin Steves/Josh Fay (8-4) swept the pairs matches to put the Raiders up 3-0.
- Needing just two more wins to take home the victory, the Red & White secured five out of the six singles battles as well.
- Lukasek won out of the second spot 6-1, 6-0 and Nakasato was almost as efficient in the third hole 6-3, 6-0.
- The only game that the Raiders dropped was in the number five singles slot but even that took extra points as MSOE secures their first victory of the year.
- The Red & White were also supposed to play Roosevelt on Saturday morning but that match was cancelled.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Raiders will be back in action on Saturday, February 19th when they take on Rose-Hulman at 3:45 pm and North Central (Ill.) at 6:30 pm. Both matches will take place in Naperville, Ill.
