Dominican – 67
HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (9-13, 5-10 NACC) found themselves in a battle with last place Dominican (2-20, 1-15 NACC) this afternoon, but it wasn't anything that the Raiders couldn't handle.
- The Red & White trailed by a single point at halftime largely based on the Stars four baskets from behind the three-point line. DU would grow that lead to five early in the second half before the Raiders mounted their comeback.
- Senior Michael Pitrof ignited the offense with 21 second frame points, and the Raiders shot 51.7 percent from the field as a group. Meanwhile, the MSOE defense slowed down Dominican's arial attack and forced them to miss 15 of their 19 attempts from three-point range.
- The Raiders grew their advantage to eight points late in the ballgame and outscored the Stars 42-18 in the paint during their seven-point victory.
RAIDER REMARKS
- Dominican hasn't been much of a threat to the Raiders as of late. The Red & White have won seven of their last ten games against the Stars, six of which were by double figures.
