KENOSHA, Wis. – MSOE men's tennis returned to the hardcourt for the first-time late September to officially begin their 2022 regular season. Unfortunately, things didn't get off to the start the Raiders wanted as they were blanked by Carthage on the road on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (0-3) was swept in doubles play as all three matches went to Carthage (4-0) via 8-1 decisions.
- The Firebirds also controlled play on the singles side of the net. They won seven sets with scores of either 6-0 or 6-1.
- Josh Fay battled out of the fifth spot but still fell 6-0, 6-3 while freshman Daniel Lukasek performed well in the second spot but lost 6-1, 6-2.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Raiders will take on Wartburg on Friday in their first home match of the 2022 season. First serve from Racine, Wis. is slated for 4:00 pm.
