Raiders Non-Conference Struggles Continue

RACINE, Wis. –  MSOE men's tennis was back at it again, this time hosting Loras at the Racine Indoor Tennis Club. The Raiders played tough and earned some crucial victories, but it was the Duhawks that would wind up with the 6-3 win.

MATCH SCORE
Loras – 6
MSOE RAIDERS – 3

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • MSOE (1-8) came away with one of the three points available in doubles play when the team of Daniel Lukasek and Joe Chong defeated their opponents from Loras (6-6) in the number two spot 8-6.
  • Down just 2-1 entering solo action, the Raiders were within striking distance. Alex Nakasato and Lukasek each took care of business with match winners of 6-3, 6-1 and 3-6, 7-5, 13-11 respectively.
  • However, the Red & White were denied victories in the other four matches, though Chong came close and lost in a third set tiebreak. When the dust settled, it was the Duhawks that left with a 6-3 win.
