RESULTS
MSOE RAIDERS – 2
UW-Milwaukee – 5
HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (17-14, 12-4 NACC) got off to a rough start on Wednesday night and allowed five runs in the first two innings to UW-Milwaukee (15-21, 4-10 Horizon). On the other side of the ball, it wasn't until a Micah Overley RBI single that the Raiders would get into the score column.
- Despite giving up five runs to the Panthers early on, the Red & White didn't back down. Raiders pitching didn't allow a single run to cross the plate for the last seven innings of play and the combination of Jeffery Stanish, Cole Ninmann, and Cole Wilson gave up just one hit to their opponents over six innings.
- Josh Beier doubled in Nolan Wojciechowski in the top of the sixth inning to pull within three, but MSOE was unable to cash in on any of their other opportunities as they fell by the score of 5-2.
