HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (2-1) lost the first game in doubles action 8-5 but the duos of Miguel Lopez / Emilio Ulloa and Josh Fay/Alex Nakasato grabbed the other two matches with respective scores of 8-5 and 8-3.
- However, where the Raiders really earned the win against Saint Ambrose (5-2) was in singles play. Both Daniel Lukasek (4-6, 7-5, 10-8) and Joe Chong (5-7, 6-4, 10-2) had to head into a third set tiebreak to secure their wins while the third and fourth matches went the way of SAU.
- Thankfully Nakasato and Fay were able to secure the match winning sets in the fifth and six spots with 6-3, 6-2 and 6-4, 7-6 victories.
WHAT'S NEXT
