Box Score WHEATON, Ill. – MSOE men's tennis took to the courts one last time in 2022 as they traveled to Illinois to take on Wheaton. The Thunder were every bit as tough as they were advertised to be and even though the Raiders battled throughout the match, they only came away with a single point in a 8-1 loss.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (2-2) was shut out in doubles play but could have easily gotten a point in the second spot as Clark Rue and Miguel Lopez took their Wheaton (1-1) opponents into extra points during a 8-7 (10-3) loss.
- Extra points were once again needed in singles play as MSOE got their lone point in the top spot. Daniel Lukasek needed a tiebreak in the first set where he won 7-6 (10-3) and proceeded to take the second frame 6-3. Lopez also came close to winning in a 7-5, 6-3 defeat.
WHO'S ON DECK
The Raiders are done for the fall and will pack it in before they return to action in early 2023. Their first match back will be against Roosevelt in Chicago on Saturday, January 21st.
