Box Score Wauwatosa, Wis. – Riding their three-game win streak, MSOE looked to keep their success when they made the short trip over to Wisconsin Lutheran College. A first half lead built up by the Red & White proved to be not large enough, as big second half run gave the Warriors the edge in the end.
FINAL SCORE
MSOE RAIDERS – 64
Wisconsin Lutheran -68
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Donovan Carter led the Raiders hot start as they jumped out to a 12-4 lead just four minutes in. A three-pointer from Mason Dopirak followed by a jumper from Steve Dillard extended the lead to as large as 12 halfway through the first half before going into the break only up by 6, leading 39-33
- Dillard and Carter got the Raiders started in the second half but could not find any rhythm to spark a big run. WLC was finally able to tie the game at 55 with just under 9 minutes left to play before a huge three-pointer from Cade Beekman tried to be the big play needed for the Red & White.
- Points became hard to come by the rest of the way as the game was tied at 62 with just 6:22 left. A steal from Dopirak and jumper on the other end gave the Raiders a one-point lead with 2:29 left but the Warriors used the home court to their advantage, winning 68-64.
