Box Score FOND DU LAC, Wis. – Looking to start 2023 off right, MSOE men's basketball returned to NACC play to take on Marian in a road matchup. A late first half surge from the Raiders was shown to be enough to give the Red & White the 10-point victory over the Sabres on Tuesday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (7-5,3-2 NACC) and Marian (6-6,4-2 NACC) duked it out for much of the first half and were tied at 10 with 13:21 left to go in the frame. A shooting run that saw four three-pointers from the Raiders put the Red and White ahead by as much as 11 before they went into the break leading 38-32.
- A mid-second half run by the Sabers cut into the Raiders lead which allowed them to take the advantage seven minutes into the frame. A back-and-forth battle would then ensue before MSOE broke away after a three pointer from Donovan Carter with 7:17 left.
- The Raiders were able to control the momentum the rest of the way, with the victory being clinched by a "and-one" layup from Matus Dopirak with 2:21 to go followed by free throws from Jess Hartman and Mason Dopirak to lock down the ten point win.
RAIDER REMARKS
- Four Raiders had double-digit point totals led by Matus Dopirak with 18.
- The Raiders excelled in attacking the glass, scoring 44 of their points in the paint.

WHO'S ON DECK
