LISLE, Ill. – After taking a first set lead, the MSOE women's volleyball couldn't create the same rhythm, eventually falling on the road at Benedictine University.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The two sides traded blows with one another until Benedictine (11-10, 7-3 NACC) emerged with a 7-0 run for a 17-13 lead. MSOE (5-16, 0-10 NACC) one-upped the Eagles by having an 11-0 run to take the set-to-set point. The Raiders tallied off the final point to take an early set lead 25-22. The Eagles found themselves having a mid-set run again and didn't let down taking the second set 25-18.
- The Eagles believed they were going to run away with the third set easy having a 22-17 lead late, but the Raiders took a 6-0 run with two service aces from Alexis Hicks to take a 23-22 lead. The run ended there as the Eagles rattled off the final three for a 25-23 set three victory. The Raiders were gassed by the fourth set as the Eagles blew away for a 25-9 final set victory.
