WAUWATOSA, Wis. – The short rest didn't seem to give the MSOE women's team any favors in a tough match with Wisconsin Lutheran College.
RESULT
MSOE RAIDERS – 0
Wisconsin Lutheran - 9
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Gabrielle Haensgen had a hard fought first in the No. 3 singles falling just short 7-5 but was shutout in the second set 6-0. That was one of the closest matches of the day as overall Wisconsin Lutheran (7-4, 7-2 NACC) really dominated rest of the singles matches over MSOE (6-7, 5-4 NACC).
- The doubles matches didn't stem further from the singles matches either, as the Warriors defeated the Raiders 8-1 in all three matches.
WHO'S ON DECK
The Raiders will now turn their focus to the spring season, with the schedule coming at a later date.
