FOND DU LAC, Wis. – The MSOE women's tennis team resumed their season on Sunday, sweeping the Inferno of Alverno College to get back in the win column.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• MSOE (7-8, 5-4 NACC) traded blows with the Inferno (0-13, 0-6 NACC) in doubles competition but still escaped with a sweep, as the pairings of Karley Way/Stephania Gonzales, Michaela Haensgen/Emily Gutknecht, and Gabrielle Haensgen/Bethany Noonan all came through with victories for MSOE.
• The Raiders captured all possible singles points with victories in straight sets, as Way and Noonan were perfect in their 6-0, 6-0 wins. M. Haensgen lost a single game in her 6-0, 6-1 win, as did Gutnecht, 6-1, 6-0.
• Avila Berns closed out the day for the Raiders as she fought hard to seal the shutout, winning 6-3, 6-4 on a great day to be a Raider.

WHO'S ON DECK
The Raiders will return to the court on Tuesday, April 16^th at 4:00PM, when they visit the Firebirds of Carthage College in Kenosha, Wis.
