MILWAUKEE – As snow surrounded the sidelines, the MSOE men's soccer team took care of business against St. Norbert College to advance to the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) championship.
RESULT
MSOE RAIDERS – 1
St. Norbert - 0
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The two sides played most of the game right at center line as it seemed neither side found themselves attacking. A free kick opportunity nearing the end of the first half gave MSOE (16-1-3, 11-0-2 NACC) it's first big chance at striking first. Michael Rohrman came up huge with a shot bouncing up right off a defender to the back of the net as they went into the break with a one goal lead.
- The duo of Raider goalies Asher Harris and Ethan Houseworth were stalemates in the net, facing only three St. Norbert (8-7-4, 7-4-2 NACC) shots on goal. Harris took care of the only first half shot faced, while Houseworth finished off the job in the second half with saving the two in the second half.
