MILWAUKEE – The MSOE women's basketball team hosted their home opener against the Blue Jays of Elmhurst University. The Raiders offense came alive in the second quarter and the Raiders held on the rest of the way to secure back to back victories.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (2-1, 0-0 NACC) and Elmhurst (1-2) went basket for basket to open the game, with the score tied up at 9-9 following the first quarter.
- The Raiders came out storming in the second quarter, going on an 11-0 run to increase the lead to 20-9 behind a Nina Perl three-pointer and a couple free throws from Dani Mendez.
- Mahima Chokshi continued to pour on the points this season, scoring nineteen points on 47% shooting from the field. Chokshi also harassed the Blue Jays on the defensive end, racking up five steals.
