MILWAUKEE, WIS. – MSOE Men's Wrestling kicked off their 2023-24 campaign against the Big Blue of Milikin on Thursday night, with a tough 36-3 loss to open the season.  The Raiders have continued to struggle against the Big Blue, losing four straight head-to-head matchups.

HOW IT HAPPENED
	- After dropping three straight matches to open the meet, Conor Nagela worked his way to an impressive 11-7 decision victory, ending the shutout and bringing the score to 13-3.
- Freshman Liam Anderson battled in his first career match, keeping the match score close through the first two rounds, but ultimately came up short in an 11-4 decision.
- Jake Schmitt fought back from being down 4-0 most of his match, but couldn't score a takedown as time ran out, and fell via decision (4-2) in a back-and-forth affair.
WHO'S ON DECK
Up next for the Raiders is a visit to the Augustana Vikings in Rock Island, Illinois on Sunday, November 5
th.  The action is scheduled to begin at 2pm.
