ROCKFORD, Ill. – The MSOE women's volleyball wrapped up the 2023 season after dropping the first set against Rockford University to cruise the rest of the way to end victorious.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The first set wasn't decided until late when Rockford (7-16, 2-11 NACC) pulled away with a 7-0 run to take it 25-17. MSOE (9-18, 2-11) slowly built a lead as large six until a kill from Emily Stratton put all the momentum on the Raider side taking set two 25-13.
- The Raiders didn't slow down as set three began 11-4 capped with a kill from Ava Larson. The Regents slowly worked back down just 23-19, but star freshman Emma Schattschneider buried the final two kills for the final points. The Regents made one last effort to spark a comeback with a 15-12 lead midway through, but Schattschneider have six kills in the final 13 points needed as the Raiders finished it off 25-22.
