HOW IT HAPPENED
- Carson Jones wasted no time after his overtime goal from last night as he struck in the first two minutes of play for an early 1-0 lead for MSOE (6-3-1, 2-3-1 NCHA). As the first period neared a close, Bethel (5-2-2, 2-1-1 MIAC) even things up for a 1-1 after a period of play.
- Preston Park took matters into his own hands to regain the lead for the lone goal in the second period. The Royals spent the third period hoping to cut into a short deficit, instead growing it larger as the Raiders with Jackson Hughes and Seth Bernard (short-handed) put them away for the upset.
