MILWAUKEE – The MSOE women's basketball team looked to improve on its hot start to the season against the Blue Angels of Mount Mary University. The Raiders fought through a slow on the offensive end to overcome and win 47-37.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (4-1, 0-0 NACC) and Mount Mary (3-5) started the contest off in a slug fest with both teams forcing turnovers and sloppy play on the offensive end. At the end of the first quarter, the score was 9-8 in favor of the Raiders.
- The Raiders were unable to gain any consistent momentum until a stretch in the second quarter where Mahima Chokshi hit a big three followed up by a Dani Mendez and-one layup to give the Raiders the lead, which they would hold the rest of the way.
- Nicole Levine had a busy outing, racking up 12 points with a matching 12 rebounds, while Mendez put up 12 and 8 respectively.
