Box Score REDLANDS, Calif. – The MSOE women's basketball team kicked off their holiday trip to the west coast against the University of Redlands. In a back-and-forth thriller, the Raiders managed to hang on and secure the victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (7-2, 2-0 NACC) came out of the gates hot, shooting over 50% in the first quarter. The Raiders would hold their opponent to just eight points in the first period of the game, with the Raiders closing the quarter on a 7-0 run, taking a 21-8 lead into the first break.
- The Raiders lead would hover around eight points in the second quarter, until Redlands started to gain a little steam on offense and the score at the break was 34-31 in favor of MSOE. Redlands would flip the momentum of the game on its head in the third quarter, going on a 14-2 run to give them a seven-point lead.
- Mahima Chokshi would eventually get the lead back for the Raiders at the 1:18 mark of the third quarter. MSOE and Redlands would trade buckets back and forth until Redlands tied the game up with 36 seconds to go.
- The Raiders came out of a late timeout with a chance to break the tie and got and an answer from Chokshi with nine seconds left on the clock. A steal from Skylar Flanagan and a clutch free throw would lock up a victory for the Raiders.
