Box Score 2 KOHLER, Wis. / CHICAGO – The Raiders win streak keeps going as the MSOE men's tennis team shutout Lakeland University Saturday and picked up a 6-3 win over Illinois Tech Sunday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- vs Lakeland
- MSOE (8-8) had three shutouts in singles play as Miquel Lopez, Clark Rue, and Jachym Smid all had 6-0 6-0 victories. Joe Chong had a dominant 6-1 6-0 victory as well, along with Alex Nakasato (6-0 6-1) and Emilio Ulloa (6-1 6-1) picked up wins as well.
- The Raiders also picked up two shutouts in doubles play as well from the combos of Lopez and Rue, along with Smid and Chong. Nakasato and Josh Fay also picked up an 8-2 win as well to finish off the shutout.
- vs Illinois Tech
- It was split down the middle in the singles play as Illinois Tech (5-11) took the first three matches. Rue came back to get a 6-0 6-4 victory, along with Ulloa got a 6-1 6-2 victory as well. Smid took the final singles match 6-1 6-0 to tie the match at 3.
- The Raiders dominated the doubles play with Chong and Smid getting a 8-4 win and Lopez and Rue as well as Fay and Nakasato each took 8-3 victories to give the Raiders the victory.
WHO'S ON DECK
The Raiders will be on the road again next week, Saturday April 1
st, when they take on both Concordia University Chicago and Elmhurst University. The first match will start at 10 AM in River Forest, Ill.
