DE PERE, Wis. – As all the matches are must win down the stretch, the MSOE men's volleyball team took care of business at St. Norbert College taking down the Green Knights three sets to one Saturday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- A hot start for MSOE (9-13, 6-3 NACC) as they jumped out to an 8-2 lead to begin the first set with two kills from Carter Shavitz. The lead grew to as high as eight as Ian Glashagel closed it out with a service ace to take the first set 25-17. While the Raiders held the advantage early in the second set, an 11-1 run from St. Norbert (8-17, 4-6 NACC) shifted the momentum over to their side as they tied it up with a 25-22 set two victory.
- While it was a tight affair early, a 6-0 run with two service aces from Glashagel put the Raiders ahead 16-12 past the midway point. While the Green Knights tried to work their way back, the Raiders held their lead to finish out the set 25-18.
- The Green Knights tried their best to push the match to five sets as they had a 19-17 late in the fourth set. A kill from Carter Shavitz sparked a 7-0 run for the Raiders pushed them all the way to match point, in which the Green Knights broke up the with a service error. Luckily, a service error from the Green Knights finished off the match as the Raiders took the fourth set 25-20.
RAIDER REMARKS
- While the Green Knights held the advantage through most of the fourth set, they only had an attacking percentage of .024, while the Raiders hit .222 to take the match.
