FOND DU LAC, Wis. – MSOE softball entered their last doubleheader of the season already knowing their fate for the NACC tournament, but they still wanted to finish off the regular season on a high note. The Raiders kept their winning streak alive by taking both games from Marian with a shutout and a ten inning marathon victory on the road in Fond du Lac on Sunday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Game One
- MSOE's (29-9, 21-3 NACC) first run of the game was also the game winner in the opening contest of the afternoon. Lauren Stefanczyk singled down the rightfield line immediately after a Morgan Long double that led off the inning that scored pinch runner Reagan Jordan to make it 1-0 Raiders.
- With only a lone run as their advantage over Marian (17-19, 12-12 NACC), the Red & White picked up two more insurance tallies in the sixth. Jenna O'Donnell kicked things off with a single to right center and went on to score on a Jocelyn Clodi single. Clodi then came around two batters later when Grace Salaja singled up the middle to make it 3-0 MSOE.
- The Sabres were no match for starter Kennedy Lehn who once again was lights out in the circle. The senior struck out 15 batters and scattered five hits throughout the game for her 19th victory of the year.
- Game Two
- The Raiders got onto the board quickly in the second game with Long plating Faith Matta in the top of the first. However, Marian took their first lead of the afternoon with a single that netted two in the third.
- Down 2-1, Jenna Trewyn singled to push Matta across for the second time in the contest to tie things at 2-2 in the fifth.
- The score would stay all knotted up until the top of the tenth when the Red & White bats woke up. Matta crossed home for the third time in the game behind a Trewyn single and Stefanczyk hit a sacrifice fly to left to plate the Raiders catcher to go up by a pair.
- Sarah Grossman pitched nine innings and got the win while Kennedy Lehn got her third save of the year as she protected the lead to give the Raiders a 4-3 win.
RAIDER REMARKS
- After a 29-9 record in the regular season, the Raiders need just one win in the NACC tournament to register their third 30 win campaign in team history.
- The Red & White will enter the conference playoffs on a season high 12 game win streak.
