RIVER FOREST, Ill. – Three goals in the span of 13 minutes essentially put the game away early as the MSOE women's soccer team added a big time victory Saturday afternoon against Dominican University.
RESULT
MSOE RAIDERS – 4
Dominican - 0
HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (9-1-2, 5-1-0 NACC) was aggressive early wanting to make a statement and Grace Quinn was on a mission to make sure of it, feeding Maggie Thillman for her first goal of the season just ten minutes in to get on the board first. Just five minutes later, Quinn took it herself for her fourth of the year, extending the lead 2-0.
- The first half fireworks weren't done yet as Leena Afifi took the pass from Elizabeth Kuhn to fire off her ninth goal of the season, eventually heading into the break with a 3-0 lead. The Raiders didn't want to give Dominican (4-4-4, 3-1-2 NACC) any hopes to come back in the second half as Addison Spillman continue to pour it on in the 50th minute for the final goal of the game, blanking the Stars 4-0.
