HOW IT HAPPENED
- Dominican (7-8, 2-2 NACC) established themselves in early in the first two sets creating healthy leads. Emma Schattschneider produced kills to help MSOE (5-10, 0-4 NACC) sparks small runs, but nothing could be created as the Stars took the first two convincingly 25-16 and 25-15.
- The Raiders seemed to create a sense of life starting the third set 8-3 started by a kill from Emily Stratton. Suddenly, an 11-0 run from the Stars gutted the Red & White as the shades of the first two sets creeped back in. The Stars finished off the match on a 5-0 run to finish off the sweep.
