MILWAUKEE – The MSOE men's soccer team made an early splash in the first 20 minutes offensively but settle to a draw with University of Wisconsin-Platteville Thursday evening to begin its three-game homestand.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- A quiet first fifteen minutes began the game until a corner kick from Freddy Comparato set up a pass to Steven Arthur to knock in his first goal of the season to get MSOE (1-1-1) on the board first. Just minutes later, Lukas Schwenke sliced through the Wisconsin-Platteville (3-0-1) defense to find Daniel D'Amato to get his first of the season as well, making the game 2-0 just 18 minutes in.
- The Pioneers found themselves their attacking end for most of the first half and finally found the back of the net at the 25-minute mark, eventually heading into the half down just one. On a handball near the net by the Raiders, the Pioneers were set for penalty kick through the left side, knotting the game up at two. Each side couldn't make any opportunities, eventually settling in a draw at full time.
RAIDER REMARKS
- The Raiders have still yet to fall victim of the Pioneers, now sitting all-time 6-0-2, with the last tie coming back in 2019.
