RIVER FOREST, Ill.  – The MSOE men's soccer team added another shutout to their season total on Sunday as they traveled down to Concordia University Chicago behind goals from Austin Killen and Braeden Roth.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• A slow start from both sides, Roth recorded the first shot of the game in the 11^th minute, but was saved by the Concordia Chicago (3-8-0, 2-6-0 NACC) keeper in the bottom right corner. That set the tone for the MSOE (6-3-4, 5-2-0 NACC) offense, as they outshot the Cougars 9-3 in first half. It wasn't until late in the first half when a throw-in opportunity came from Ian Frost that sailed into the box to Owen Gendrich allowed Killen to let the Raiders crack onto the scoreboard first as they headed into the break with a 1-0 lead.
• The Raiders continued to try and build up their lead as they recorded five shots on goal in the first fifteen minutes of the second half, three of those coming from Joey Loduca. The Cougars while not creating momentum on the offensive end to tie up the game, stopped everything the Red & White was throwing at them. That was until Braedon Smith sent a deep crosser down to Roth to the box to send it to the top left corner for what was the exclamation point, as they took a 2-0 lead all the way to full-time.
