MILWAUKEE – Putting a massive push late, the MSOE men's hockey team came up short Saturday afternoon with #7 Adrian College.
FINAL SCORE
MSOE RAIDERS – 5
#7 Adrian - 7
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Similarly to last night, Adrian (9-3-0, 6-2-0 NCHA) struck first after MSOE (3-7-1, 2-6-0 NCHA) finished a penalty kill seven minutes in. But right after that, the Raiders put together two quick goals from Gramm McCormack and Cole Beilke gave them a 2-1 lead heading into the first break.
- The Bulldogs tied it up right out of the break at two until minutes later Carson Jones took the feed from Ethan Mann to retake the lead 3-2. The Bulldogs went on a tear from there, netting three straight goals in the period before adding a fourth seconds into the third building up a 6-3 lead. Jackson Hughes and Luke Stevens helped make things interesting bring the Red & White to within one with seven minutes to play, but the Bulldogs put one in the back of the empty net to seal it.
