GREENCASTLE, Ind. – The MSOE women's basketball team took on the Tigers of DePauw University in the finals of the 2024 Amy Hasbrook Memorial Tournament on Monday afternoon, as the Red and White fell to the hosts by a final score of 69-47.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Raiders (5-6, 1-1 NACC) trailed the Tigers (7-4) early in the contest before a Mahima Chokshi three point shot gave the Red and White their first lead of the game at the 3:23 mark of the first frame. Lana Kerley would follow up Chokshi with a three of her own, and after an Elly Kohl field goal to close the quarter, the Raiders led 19-14 at the end of the first. The Tigers would slowly work their way back in front, taking back the lead with just under three minutes to play on the first half. MSOE would trail 32-30 at the half followed a layup from Halena Hill to keep it a one-possession game.
- DePauw would pull away in the third quarter as the Tigers began to get to the charity stripe after the Raiders racked up their team fouls, as the opposition would finish with 27 opportunities at the free throw line. The Red and White would shoot just 15.38% in the third, as they were outscored 20-7 coming out of the half, falling in the final of the Hasbrook Tournament as they gear up for conference play to begin as the calendar turns to 2025.

The Raiders will kick-off the 2025 portion of their schedule on Wednesday, January 8
th when the Muskies of Lakeland University make their way to the Kern Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00PM.
